Description
This is a four-panel solar mounting frame designed for the APAC AMT Modular Platform system. It is designed to affix four 305 W (or similar dimension) solar panels to an AMT chassis at a fixed 30° angle to shed water and dust. Two of the four solar panels slide out from underneath two fixed panels and lock into place during operation. When transported, the two extended panels are slid back underneath and locked into the stowed position.
It interfaces with the AMT chassis using the platform's standard U-Bolting style, and uses standard solar clamps to secure the solar panels. The underside of the solar panels features a perforated aluminium mesh to protect them from rock-fly.
