An RF jumper cable is an interconnection cable used to connect components of a transmission system.
Jumpers can be thought of as a 'medium size' RF cable and are commonly found connecting feeder cables to server antennas in an in-building DAS. Typically less than three metres in length, RF jumper cables can also be found interconnecting passive and active components such as sitting between the front end and antenna. In simpler systems jumper cables can be used to connect directly to an end user device in a manner similar to a patch cable.
Jumper cables are typically comprised of 1/4", 3/8", or 1/2" corrugated cables. The wide variety of applications means that jumper cables manufactured from L-400, L-240, and even L-195 can be found.
