Cable Group

Description

Powertec’s PTL-195 is an L-195 group low-loss coaxial cable with a 4.95 mm outer diameter, allowing it to be used as a higher performing replacement to RG-58. Supporting frequencies up to 6 GHz, it is a popular choice of RF cable for HF/UHF/VHF applications, as well as for short lengths of higher frequency applications such as 4G.

PTL-195 cable provides flexibility, ease of installation, and low weight that technicians expect of a smaller diameter cable.

PTL-195 differs from conventional RG-58, trading some flexibility for significantly lower loss through its use of a solid bare copper inner conductor. The cable has a double shielded outer conductor provides exceptional RF shielding exceeding 90 dB, and PE jacket for a service life in excess of 20 years.

Like other L-195 series cables, PTL-195 is compatible with most RG-58 coaxial connectors, using a 5.4 mm (.213") hex die
