The QMA Female RF connector features a quick-connect/disconnect snap-on interface, facilitating easy installation and removal without the need for any tools. The outer conductor typically has a ternary alloy or CuZn plating, ensuring optimal signal transmission and resistance to corrosion. The connector's dielectric is often made from PTFE or similar materials, providing excellent insulation. The female body has an outer diameter of about 5.5 mm, with a gold socket located centrally.
