The SMC Male RF connector is characterised by its small size and screw-on coupling mechanism. The connector's body is cylindrical, with a prong or pin at the center, surrounded by a metal shield. The outer diameter is usually around 4 mm, with an outer 10-32 UNF threading. Unique to the SMB design, the female connector slots over the SMB male connector.
