Alfa 4G Network
On May 15, 2013, it became the first to commercially roll out 4G LTE
services in the country, deploying a B3 (1800 MHz) carrier, and in another regional milestone upgraded to LTE-A in August 2016 carrier aggregating B3 with B20 (800 MHz) through strategic partnerships with Nokia and Ericsson .In November 2018 Alfa announced it was upgrading its network to gigabit 4.5G LTE-A Pro on a path to eventual 5G services.The upgrades included 4X4 MIMO, 256QAM, and CA_3A-3A-20A aggregation.
