Caricel

Caricel is a Jamaican telecommunications company that commenced operations in March 2014. It is owned and operated by Symbiote Investments Limited. The company's inception followed Symbiote's application for a Carrier and Service Provider licence from the Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR) in Jamaica. In May 2016, despite a change in government administration, Caricel was granted a Spectrum licence by the Ministry of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining (MSTEM), thus solidifying its status as a licensed mobile network operator in the country.
