Cyta is a leading telecommunications network that operates in Cyprus. The company is a subsidiary of the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority, the national telecommunications provider of Cyprus. 4G LTE began in November 2015 over B3 (1800 MHz), and later upgraded to LTE-A Pro in July 2017 offering peak DL data rates up to 525 Mbps using 256QAM and 3C aggregation of B3 (1800 MHz), B7 (2600 MHz), and B20 (800 MHz).

5G Network
The company received permission from Cypriot state regulator Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works to conduct 5G trials in Q1 2019. The licence permitted the company to test networks over the 3400 to 3800 MHz band (n78) until November 2019.
The company launched 5G over n28 (700 MHz) and n78 (3500 MHz) in January 2021.
