After being awarded additional spectrum in 2016 the company launched 4G LTE over B4 (1700 MHz) and B13 (700 MHz) in January 2017. In August 2018 the company announced it had doubled the capacity of its LTE network. While Digicel BVI has sufficient spectrum to implement B2 and B3 (2x15 each), it is speculated that the upgrade has involved LTE-A.
