3G Network
Entel Peru launched its 3G network in December 2009. The network utilised the UMTS band B2 (1900 MHz), which provided enhanced data speeds and improved connectivity for mobile users. The deployment of the 3G network marked a significant milestone for Entel Peru, as it enabled the company to offer faster internet services and better voice quality compared to the earlier GSM networks. The 3G network supported HSPA+ technology, which allowed for data speeds of up to 21 Mbps, catering to the increasing demand for mobile internet access in Peru.

4G Network
Entel Peru commercially launched its 4G LTE network on March 28, 2014, using the 2.6 GHz spectrum on 803 sites. The company utilised several frequency bands for its LTE network, including LTE Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz AWS 1) and LTE Band 28 (700 MHz APT). These bands provided a good balance between capacity, coverage, and penetration, making them ideal for urban and rural deployments. The LTE network enabled Entel Peru to offer high-speed mobile broadband services, with download speeds significantly higher than those of the 3G network. In 2016, Entel Peru introduced the APT700 spectrum, which was used to launch LTE-Advanced services with theoretical peak downlink speeds of 300 Mbps. This upgrade involved carrier aggregation technology, combining different frequency bands to enhance network performance and capacity. The deployment of LTE-Advanced technology allowed Entel Peru to offer improved data speeds and network reliability to its customers.

5G Network
Entel Peru began deploying 5G NR technology in major cities, with initial deployments in March 2020. The company utilised the 5G NR frequency band N78, which operates in the 3500 MHz range. In July 2024, Entel Peru, in collaboration with Huawei, completed the first overseas commercial use of dual-band AAU technology, deploying 2.3GHz+3.5GHz dualband AAUs on its 5G network. This innovative solution simplified the deployment of TDD multiband networks and enabled Entel Peru to achieve the No.1 commercial peak experience in Peru. The deployment of 5G technology marked a significant step forward in Entel Peru's efforts to build high-quality green 5G networks and accelerate the large-scale deployment of 5G services across the country.
