Etisalat Egypt is the third largest mobile network operating in Egypt and a subsidiary of the Emirates Telecommunications Group Company PJSC, commonly known as Etisalat. The network launched in May 2007, following a USD 1.2 billion network construction in partnership with Ericsson and Huawei. The company updated its brand to Etisalat by e& in 2022.
3G Network
The company has provided 3G UMTS over B1 (2100 MHz) since inception. Etisalat's 3G network was upgraded to HSPA+ in June 2009 and DC-HSPA+ in May 2010.

4G Network
Etisalat received its 4G LTE licence in October 2016 with commercial launch in September 2017 over a 10 MHz channel in the B3 (1800 MHz) band.
In November 2018 Etisalat Misr announced the successful implementation of VoLTE and ViLTE technology nationwide in partnership with Taiwanese MediaTek.
