G-Mobile is a mobile network operating in Mongolia, best known for its 450 MHz CDMA2000 network. The 100% Mongolian-owned company was founded in April 2006 and was the first company to bring 3G services to the nation in 2008.
3G Network
G-Mobile launched 3G UMTS services over the B1 (2100 MHz) band in 2008, upgrading the network to DC-HSPA+ in 2012 supporting data rates up to 42 Mbps (marketed as 3.99G). At launch the service was only available in the capital Ulaanbaatar. All other areas of the country were served by G-Mobile's long range CDMA-450 (450 MHz) network.

4G Network
In February 2016 the company received 10 MHz paired spectrum assignments in the 1800 MHz band for the purposes of deploying B3 (1800 MHz) 4G LTE. A 75 Mbps 4G service was announced in December 2017.
