Latvijas Mobilais Telefons (LMT) is a leading mobile GSM/UMTS/LTE operator based in Latvia. The company was established on January 2, 1992, making it the first mobile network operator in the country. Initially, LMT operated as an NMT system operator but expanded to include a GSM network in January 1995. In the summer of 1999, the company's license was extended to allow use of the 1800 MHz range, further strengthening its position in the telecommunications sector.
LMT is currently the largest telecommunications service provider in Latvia, with a substantial client base. The company is owned by SIA Latvijas mobilais telefons, which recently acquired the data transmission network and IT security solutions company, SIA Santa Monica Networks. This acquisition, completed in October 2021, has further expanded LMT's reach in the telecommunications industry. The company's growth strategy has included the successful acquisition of 700 MHz frequency bands in several rounds of auctions held in Latvia in December 2021.

4G Network

5G Network
