LonestarCell MTN is a telecommunications company operating in Liberia. It was established in 2001 as a joint venture between the Liberia Telecommunications Corporation and Investcom, a Lebanese telecommunications company. In 2006, the MTN Group, a South African multinational mobile telecommunications company, acquired Investcom, becoming a majority stakeholder in LonestarCell. Today, LonestarCell MTN is one of the largest mobile network operators in Liberia, providing a wide range of telecommunications services to individuals and businesses across the country. The company is jointly owned by the MTN Group and the Liberia Telecommunications Corporation.
