MagtiCom Ltd, a telecommunications company based in Georgia, was established on February 12, 1996, by Dr. George (Gia) Jokhtaberidze. The company's first commercial call from its mobile network was made on September 22, 1997. It offers a range of services including mobile telephony, mobile internet, cable fixed telephony (VoIP), internet television (IPTV), and fiber-optic internet. The MagtiCom mobile network combines various mobile technologies of different generations such as 2G, 2.5G, 3G, 3.5G, 4G, 4.5G, and covers 99% of the populated controlled territory of Georgia.
In 2016, MagtiCom expanded its services to become an Internet Service Provider (ISP), offering a total range of communication services. The company took over as the market leader ISP operator in Georgia in November 2017. The company has also been recognised for its contribution to the development of the Georgian economy. MagtiCom serves up to 3 million customers through 50 customer care offices and 88 outlets in public service halls.

4G Network
MagtiCom was the first provider to launch 4G LTE in Georgia which it began providing in February 2015 over the B3 (1800 MHz) band. After securing additional spectrum in the 800 MHz band, the company switched on LTE-A in June 2016 aggregating B3 (1800 MHz) with B20 (800 MHz) offering peak data rates up to 185 Mbps.
In August 2018 the company announced the launch of a 4X4 MIMO LTE-Advanced network, using 30 MHz CA_3C aggregation to provide peak data rates up to 430 Mbps.
