Moov Mauritel

Moov Mauritel is a telecommunications company operating in Mauritania. It was founded in 2000 as a subsidiary of Maroc Telecom, which is owned by the UAE-based multinational telecommunications services provider, Etisalat. Moov Mauritel provides a range of telecommunications services including mobile, fixed line, and internet services. The company was originally state-owned under the name Mauritel, but was privatised and subsequently acquired by Maroc Telecom in 2001. The rebranding to Moov Mauritel occurred in 2007, following the acquisition of a majority stake in Maroc Telecom by Etisalat in 2014.
