Following the acquisition of 80 MHz of the 3700 MHz band in the country's 2017 5G spectrum auction Nordic Telecom launched a 4G LTE network over B43 (3700 MHz) in March 2018. Nordic Telecom achieved peak data rates in excess of 400 Mbps in non-commercial trials.
