Nova, previously known as WIND, is a major telecommunications provider in Greece. The company was established in 1992 under the name STET Hellas Telecommunications S.A. In 2005, the company underwent a major rebranding and became known as WIND Hellas. WIND was owned by the VimpelCom Group, a significant global telecommunications company based in Amsterdam. VimpelCom acquired WIND from Weather Investments, an investment firm, in 2011. The company was then acquired and merged with NOVA Greece in January 2023.

3G Network

The company launched its 3G network in June 2006 over the B1 (2100 MHz) band. The network was upgraded to DC-HSPA+ in June 2012.

The network shut down was announced in June 2022 and completed by March 2023.

    4G Network

    The company's 4G LTE network was launched in March 2015 using a 15 MHz channel of the B3 (1800 MHz) band. B7, B20, and B28 carriers were later added.

    An additional 4G carrier was added on B1 (2100 MHz) in March 2023 following the 3G shutdown.

      5G Network

      The company launched its 5G network in December 2020 using a combination of a DSS n1 (2100 MHz) carrier with a conventional mid-band n78 (3500 MHz) carrier.
