Ooredoo Tunisie is the largest mobile network operating in Tunisia. The company began operations in 2002, activating its first mobile services in December that year. Originally branded as Tunisiana, the company rebranded to Ooredoo in April 2014 to match the branding of its parent company Ooredoo Group. The company is a part of Ooredoo's international network of operations that spans ten countries across the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia. Ooredoo was established in 1987 in Doha, originally as a telephone exchange company, and has since grown to become a major communications operator. In 2013, all operating companies under the Qtel Group, including the Tunisian operation, were unified under the Ooredoo Group.
