Orange Burkina Faso is a telecommunications company operating in Burkina Faso. It is a subsidiary of the multinational telecommunications corporation Orange S.A., headquartered in France. The company was established in Burkina Faso after Orange S.A. acquired Airtel, a telecommunications services provider in 14 African countries, in 2016. The acquisition included Airtel's operations in Burkina Faso, which were rebranded as Orange Burkina Faso. The company provides a range of telecommunications services including mobile telephony and internet services. Despite the relatively underdeveloped telephony market in Burkina Faso, Orange Burkina Faso is one of the leading telecom operators in the country, contributing to the growth of mobile penetration.
