Orange Guinée is the largest mobile network operator in Guinée Conakary. The company was formed in 2007, the fourth mobile network operator to enter the region. Orange's presence in Guinea is part of the company's global footprint, which includes 266 million customers worldwide. The company's head office is located in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France. The French government, both directly and through its holding company ERAP, continues to hold a stake of almost 27% in the company.

4G Network
Orange Guinea was awarded a 4G LTE operating licence by the Regulatory Authority for Post and Telecommunications (ARPT) in March 2019. The company subsequently launched the country's first 4G services in April 2019, using the B3 (1800 MHz) band. 4G services were expanded in the early 2020s with the addition of B7 and B20 carriers, and a B38 TDD carrier.
