STC Kuwait, a subsidiary of the Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC), operates within the telecommunications sector in Kuwait. The company was established as Kuwait Telecom Company, and originally trading as VIVA Kuwait. STC Kuwait provides a range of telecommunications services, including mobile, broadband and cloud computing. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Saudi Telecom Company Group and began its commercial service in December 2008.
3G Network
STC operated a 2G GSM service over 900 and 1800 MHz and 3G services on B1 (2100 MHz) since launch, which it upgraded to HSPA+ shortly after in January 2009, and again in April 2012 to DC-HSPA+.

5G Network
STC Kuwait launched its 5G services in June 2019 initially over the n78 (3500 MHz) band, but shortly after upgrading the network with a n1 (2100 MHz) 5G DSS band using its 10 MHz LTE channel. The entire network was upgraded to Standalone (SA) in May 2021.
