Sudatel is a telecommunications and Internet service provider operating in Sudan. The company was established with the key responsibility of constructing and maintaining Sudan's telecom infrastructure. The majority of Sudatel's ownership, more than 60%, is held by the Sudanese government, with the remaining shares owned by private interests. The company's stock is traded on the Bahrain Stock Exchange.

In addition to its primary operations, Sudatel is also actively involved in the development of the Al Zariba / North Kurdufan area. The company has been expanding its satellite earthlink facilities and has made significant investments in building a fiber optic network within the region. Sudatel's fiber projects include the Sudan - Egypt Fiber Line, the Sudan - Ethiopia Landline Project, and the Sea Cable Project to link Port Sudan with Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
