3G Network
Tele2 began providing 3G UMTS services in April 2010 over the B1 (2100 MHz) and launching B8 (900 MHz) in 2011. The network was upgraded to HSPA+ in Q1 2013, and DC-HSPA+ some time later.
The company announced the shutdown of its 3G services would occur 31/12/2028.

4G Network
The company launched its first 4G service over B7 (2600 MHz) in March 2013. Tele2 added a second B3 (1800 MHz) carrier in September that year, and B20 (800 MHz) some time after.
The network was upgraded to LTE-Advanced in January 2015 using CA_3A-20A 2C CA and providing a peak data rate of 210 Mb/s. 3C CA was implemented in November taking the maximum data rate to 350 Mb/s.
