Telefonia Mobile Sammarinese (TMS) (San Marino Telecom) is the sole telecommunications service provider operating in San Marino, following the exit of Prima in 2016. The company has been operational since 1999 and is a joint venture 51% owned by Telecom Italia Group, and 49% state owned.
3G Network
TMS has provided 2G GSM services over 900 and 1800 MHz since inception, and 3G UMTS services over B1 (2100 MHz) since May 2006 (via the TIM network). The network has since been shut down.
