Telia Sweden is a major telecommunications company based in Sweden. It was established in 1853 as part of the government-run Televerket, which was later privatised and rebranded as Telia in 1993. The company became TeliaSonera in 2002 following the merger of Swedish Telia and Finnish Sonera. The company was renamed back to Telia in April 2016. Telia Sweden is currently a subsidiary of Telia Company, a multinational telecommunications corporation headquartered in Stockholm.
3G Network
The company launched its 3G network in June 2007 over the B1 (2100 MHz) band. The network was expanded with the addition of B8 (900 MHz) carrier in November 2014. The network was shut down end-of-year 2023.

4G Network
Telia launched the world's first LTE networks in Stockholm and Norway (Oslo) in December 2009 using B7 (2600 MHz). The network was enhanced with the addition of B20 in March 2011 and B3 in January 2013.
