3G Network
Three Sweden launched its 3G network using the W-CDMA 2100 MHz band in November 2006. The network offered HSDPA+ with speeds of up to 21 Mbps, and later upgrading to DC-HSPA+ along with U900 in May 2011. As part of the broader trend in Sweden, the 3G network was scheduled for shutdown by the end of 2023, as operators transitioned to more advanced technologies like 4G and 5G.

4G Network
Three Sweden launched its 4G LTE network in April 2012, using the 800 MHz and 2600 MHz frequency bands. This deployment allowed the company to offer improved data speeds and coverage, catering to the increasing demand for mobile internet services. The network utilised both FDD and TDD technologies, making it one of the world's first LTE networks to implement this dual approach. Initially launched with ZTE, the network later transitioned to equipment from Huawei and Ericsson. By 2015, Three Sweden had upgraded its network to support LTE-Advanced, enhancing data speeds and capacity. The company continued to expand its 4G coverage, reaching approximately 98.5% of the Swedish population by 2022.

5G Network
Three Sweden began its 5G rollout in June 2020 using its TDD 2600 MHz spectrum, and expanding further with n1 and n78 following a spectrum auction conducted by the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) in the first quarter of 2021. The company secured licenses for the 5G TDD mid-band, which facilitated the deployment of its next-generation network. The transition to 5G involved replacing Huawei equipment with infrastructure from Ericsson and Nokia, in line with regulatory requirements. By 2023, all major national operators in Sweden, including Three, had launched 5G services, significantly enhancing mobile connectivity across the country.
