Togocom is a telecommunications company operating in Togo. It was established in 1964 as a state-owned entity. The company was initially known as Office des Postes et Télécommunications du Togo (OPTT) before it was renamed Togo Telecom in 1997. In 2017, the company underwent a rebranding and became known as Togocom. As for its ownership, Togocom was fully owned by the Togolese government until 2019. In November 2019, the government sold 51% of its stake to the Agou Holding consortium, making it the majority shareholder. The Togolese government retains a 49% stake in the company.
