3G Network

The company has provided 2G GSM services over 900 and 1800 MHz, and in May 2014 launched 3G UMTS (HSPA+) services over the B1 (2100 MHz). Unable to secure additional 2100 MHz spectrum Ufone refarmed a 5 MHz block of its 7.6 MHz wide 900 MHz spectrum to launch a B8 (900 MHz) 3G service in December 2016 allowing it to improve coverage, capacity, and service quality for its customers.
