Unite (Moldtelecom) is the national telecommunications operator in the Republic of Moldova and is also the largest telecommunications company in the country. The company was established on 1 April 1993 after the restructuring of the telecommunications sector in Moldova. Originally a state-owned enterprise, Moldtelecom underwent a reorganisation on 5 January 1999, transitioning into a Joint-Stock Company. The State of Moldova is the unique founder and stockholder of the company. The company provides a full range of telecommunication services including fixed-line telephony, mobile telephony, internet, data transport, and digital television.
3G Network
In May 2010 Unité launched 3G UMTS services over the B1 (2100 MHz) and B8 (900 MHz) bands, which was upgraded in April 2013 to a DC-HSPA+ service, providing up to 42 Mbps downlink.

4G Network
4G LTE services were launched in October 2015 over the B3 (1800 MHz) band. The network was upgraded to LTE-Advanced using 2C aggregation of 2x B3 carriers.
