Unitel commercially activated 4G LTE coverage using the B3 (1800 MHz) band in December 2012.
Through partnership with Ericsson in 2013, Unitel has worked to deploy an LTE-A network with carrier aggregation of 900 and 1800 MHz bands, however in 2014 the two companies demonstrated LTE-A carrier aggregation of B1 (2100 MHz), B3 (1800 MHz), and B7 (2600 MHz). It is unclear whether LTE-A services are currently live on the network.
