Vinaphone is a telecommunications company operating in Vietnam. Established in 1996, it is a subsidiary of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), a state-owned corporation overseen by the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications. VNPT is the national postal and telecommunications provider and one of the largest corporations in Vietnam. Vinaphone is one of the three largest mobile network operators in the country, providing services such as mobile, IPTV, broadband and voice over IP.
3G Network
The company launched its 3G network in October 2009 over the B1 (2100 MHz) band. The network was shut down at the end of June 2024.

4G Network
The company launched 4G LTE services over B3 (1800 MHz) in November 2016. The company began using B1 (2100 MHz) LTE as its 3G services began to be switched off.
