Vodafone Egypt is a leading telecommunications network in Egypt. Established in 1998 under the initial name Click GSM, the company has grown to become the largest mobile network operator in the country in terms of active subscribers. The company provides various voice and data exchange services, including 4G, 3G, ADSL, and broadband Internet services. The company's headquarters were originally located in Maadi, Cairo from 1998 to 2003. However, in 2003, Vodafone Egypt relocated its headquarters to the Sixth of October City. As of now, all of Vodafone Egypt's core operations are managed from Vodafone's campus at the Smart Village Technology Park. The company's ownership has been under Vodafone Group, a multinational telecommunications company.

3G Network

The company has provided 2G GSM services over 900 MHz since inception, and launched 3G UMTS over B1 (2100 MHz) in May 2007. Vodafone's 3G network was upgraded to DC-HSPA+ in 2012, supporting peak DL rates up to 42 Mbps.
