Vodafone Romania S.A. is a mobile phone network operator that began operations in Romania in April 1997. Initially, it was the first GSM network in the country and was known as Connex. The company underwent a rebranding phase, transitioning from Connex to Connex-Vodafone, and eventually dropping the Connex name in April 2006 to align with the global Vodafone brand.

The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vodafone Group plc. The majority ownership of Vodafone Romania was established when Vodafone Group procured 79% of Mobifon's shares from Telesystems International Wireless, a Canadian company that had previously held the majority stake. An additional 5% of Mobifon's shares were later acquired from Canadian entrepreneur Elani Grobler.
