4G Network
4G LTE-A Pro was commercially launched in April 2016 providing data rates over 900 Mbps using 4X4 MIMO; 256QAM; and 3C CA over B3 (1800 MHz), B7 (2600 MHz), and B8 (900 MHz). LTE TDD services are also provided over a 10 MHz carrier of B38 (2600 MHz).
Vodafone Türkiye has activated LTE-LAA on its network, aggregating 15 MHz of B7 (2600 MHz) with 40 MHz of 5 GHz unlicensed spectrum to provide 370 Mbps in high traffic areas.
In addition to holding unused 800 MHz band spectrum, the company is testing 700 and 3500 MHz bands, and Massive MIMO technology to further extend its network capabilities towards its 5G vision.
In October 2017 Vodafone Türkiye activated its NB-IoT network throughout all 81 provinces.
