3G Network
Vox (Copaco) planned to launch its 3G services on September 21, 2011. However, the launch was postponed due to interference issues with radio stations operating on the same frequency. The company had to negotiate with radio owners to migrate to another frequency, which delayed the commercial offering of 3G services. Despite these challenges, Vox eventually launched its 3G network later in May 2012, following a USD 20 million investment by Copaco to establish the network infrastructure. The 3G network utilised the UMTS B8 (900 MHz) frequency band, later adding B2 support.
