Full Name
        316 Stainless Steel
Stainless Steel Grade 316 is the second most commonly used stainless steel. It is an austenitic, corrosion resistant steel with excellent strength, toughness, fabrication characteristics and weldability. Grade 316 has virtually the same mechanical, physical and fabrication characteristics as 304 with better corrosion resistance, particularly to pitting corrosion in chloride environments.
