The T568A pinout is a wiring standard for terminating RJ45 connectors that follows a specific colour coding sequence. Starting from pin 1, the sequence is green-white, green, orange-white, blue, blue-white, orange, brown-white, and brown. This is the standard wiring configuration for use in Australia per AS/NZS 3080, and also commonly found in Japan and South Korea. As long as both ends of the cable are terminated using the same standard (either T568A or T568B), the cable will function properly. Mixing the two standards within the same cable run can lead to connectivity issues and should be avoided.
