The 900 MHz ISM band, as defined by the ITU Radio Regulations, is a part of the radio spectrum that can be used without a licence in many countries for industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) purposes. This band, ranging from 902 to 928 MHz, is designated by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for these unlicensed uses in ITU countries. It is commonly used for short-range, low-power wireless communications, such as cordless phones, wireless headphones, and some amateur radio uses. While this band is unlicensed, all devices operating within it must not cause harmful interference to licensed services and must accept any interference received.
