LTE Band 36 resides in the 1.9 GHz spectrum, designated for Time Division Duplexing (TDDTDD: A wireless communication technique that uses a single frequency band for both transmitting and receiving operations but separates these operations in time. In a TDD system, upstream (transmission from user equipment to base station) and downstream (transmission from base station to user equipment)…) operations. This means it employs a single frequency range, dividing the uplink and downlink by time slots. Similar to Band 35, Band 36 also falls within the broader Personal Communications Service (PCS) frequency bands traditionally employed for various communication services.

While Band 35 and Band 36 share the same spectrum region, each band has its distinct frequency range within the 1.9 GHz spectrum. Band 36's TDD configuration offers the advantage of dynamic bandwidth allocation, ideal for environments with varying uplink and downlink demands.
