LTE Band 70, often referred to as AWS 4, operates within the Advanced Wireless Service spectrum, focusing on the North American Region. Established by 3GPP in Release 14, Band 70 utilises a spectrum around the 2 GHz range.

This band emerges from a combination of the AWS-1 and AWS-3 blocks, and its design offers a harmonised band structure that facilitates efficient spectrum utilisation.
