RMR 900
Also known as "RMR 900", this band has been specifically allocated for Rail Mobile Radio communications. As part of the European Union's Future Railway Mobile Communications System (FRMCS), it is designed to replace the ageing GSM-R network, offering more reliable and faster connections for railway systems. The band uses an FDD configuration with uplink frequencies ranging from 874.4 to 880 MHz and downlink frequencies from 919.4 to 925 MHz. The n100 band was standardised in 3GPP Release 17.6 in June 2022.
