Alias
Lower 6 GHz
Known as the "Lower 6 GHz" band, n102 operates between 5925 and 6425 MHz, providing a subset of the frequencies covered by the broader n96 TDD band. Its allocation allows network operators to expand their services and capabilities through use of unlicensed U-NII-5 spectrum in the USA, improving 5G speed, capacity, and performance. The n102 band was standardised in the 3GPP Release 17.5 in April 2022.
