n102 (6 GHz)

Known as the "Lower 6 GHz" band, n102 operates between 5925 and 6425 MHz, providing a subset of the frequencies covered by the broader n96 TDDTDD: A wireless communication technique that uses a single frequency band for both transmitting and receiving operations but separates these operations in time. In a TDD system, upstream (transmission from user equipment to base station) and downstream (transmission from base station to user equipment)… band. Its allocation allows network operators to expand their services and capabilities through use of unlicensed U-NII-5 spectrum in the USA, improving 5G speed, capacity, and performance. The n102 band was standardised in the 3GPP Release 17.5 in April 2022.
