Alias
700 c
The n13 band, also known as the "700c" band, operates around a central frequency of 700 MHz and is used in 5G NR networks. The "c" designation refers to the specific frequency block within the 700 MHz range in the U.S. cellular band plan. This FDD band allows for excellent signal penetration and coverage, making it suitable for rural and suburban areas where broader coverage is required. It sits immediately above the n12 band with reversed duplexing. n13 was allocated by 3GPP in Release 17 (March 2022).
