Alias
700 PS
The n14 band, also referred to as the "700 PS" band, is a Frequency Division Duplexing (FDD) band that operates around 700 MHz for 5G NR networks. The "PS" stands for "Public Safety", as this band was originally designated for use by public safety organisations in the U.S., called FirstNet. It provides reliable coverage over larger geographical areas, supporting communication in both urban and more remote areas. It sits immediately above the n13 band and also has reversed duplexing. The US' FirstNet public safety network supports HPUE (3GPP Class 1) transmitters, capable of transmitting up to +31 dBm.
