Alias
800 Lower

The n18 band, known as the "800 Lower" band, is a Frequency Division Duplexing (FDD) band operating around 800 MHz, allocated for 5G NR networks in 3GPP Rel. 16. The "Lower" refers to its position within the 800 MHz spectrum, with frequencies less than the mid-band range. This band, with its solid coverage and good signal penetration, supports widespread mobile broadband services and IoT applications. The n18 band has been allocated by 3GPP in support of 5G networks in Japan.
