The n29 band, also referred to as the "700d" band, is a Supplemental Downlink (SDL) band allocated for 5G NR networks and operates around 700 MHz. The SDL configuration means this band is used exclusively for downlink communication, enhancing the available downlink capacity. Predominantly used in North America, its lower frequency allows for excellent coverage and building penetration, augmenting network performance in both urban and rural areas.
