The "WCS" refers to Wireless Communications Services in North America, which initially faced significant constraints due to the adjacent Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS) bands. Over time, regulatory solutions have been found, and the n30 band is being increasingly utilised for 5G communications, offering increased capacity in urban areas.
