Referred to as the "TD 2500" band, the n53 band operates within the 2500 MHz spectrum and is used for 5G NR networks. Using Time Division Duplexing (TDD), this band balances uplink and downlink data transmission. The n53 band is notable in that it makes use of the small allotment of spectrum immediately above the public 2.4 GHz ISM band.
