n66 (2100 MHz)

Termed the "Extended AWS" band, the n66 band operates in the 2100 MHz spectrum and is employed in North American 5G NR5G NR: 5G was developed with three broad use case families in mind: enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), massive machine-type communications (mMTC) and ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC). eMBB focuses on across-the-board enhancements to the data rate, latency, user density, capacity and… networks. It's an extension of the original Advanced Wireless Services (AWS) (1700/2100) band, like the n65 band it increases downlink through to 2200 MHz, providing additional capacity to support growing mobile broadband usage. The band offers an ideal balance between capacity and coverage, making it crucial for urban and suburban deployments.
